INT. TOURNAMENT HALL – DAY
The arena roars with excitement. Spectators cheer from the stands, waving flags and chanting. Fighters in colored sashes line the mats as the Kung Fu tournament reaches its final stage.
Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) stands nervously in his corner. He’s bruised, his leg bandaged, but his eyes show determination. Beside him, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) kneels, whispering calm encouragement.
MR. HAN: “Your best Kung Fu is still inside you. Stay focused.”
Dre nods.
The announcer calls Dre’s name. He walks to the center mat to face his fierce opponent, Cheng, the top student of the ruthless Master Li.
MATCH BEGINS
The referee signals the start.
Cheng charges aggressively. He lands a blow to Dre’s injured leg. Dre stumbles, barely able to stand. Mr. Han watches with clenched fists, staying silent but tense.
Dre breathes deeply, remembering Han’s teachings—discipline, patience, and inner strength.
He dodges a strike, then counters with swift, graceful movements—blocking, spinning, striking. He surprises the audience with his resilience.
SECOND ROUND
Cheng fakes a move—then kicks Dre’s knee again. Dre collapses.
REFEREE: “Can you continue?”
Dre struggles to his feet, in pain. He nods.
Mr. Han gives him a quiet signal: the Cobra stance.
FINAL ROUND
Dre focuses, raising his arms slowly. His body mimics the calm, swaying rhythm of a cobra.
The crowd gasps. Cheng hesitates, confused.
Dre leaps into the air—delivering a flawless, high cobra kick straight to Cheng’s head.
BOOM!
Cheng crashes to the mat. The hall erupts in cheers.
Referee: “Winner—Dre Parker!”
Dre breathes heavily, eyes wide with relief.
Cheng limps over, bows, and hands Dre the tournament sash—a sign of respect.
Master Li watches in shock as his students begin to bow to Mr. Han.
Mr. Han smiles softly.
FADE OUT.
Dre looks up to Mr. Han. They nod—master and student, united in victory through courage, discipline, and heart.
